Lake Garda

Lake Garda, also known as Benaco, is the largest lake in Italy. It covers an area of ​​369.98 km² and is located in the regions of Lombardy, Trentino-South Tyrol and Veneto. This amazing azure blue lake is situated in a picturesque hillside landscape with oleanders, citrus trees and cypress trees. There are mountains, hills, beaches and a lot of interesting sights. Around Lake Garda you can find many beautiful towns and villages. In these idyllic places you can stroll through winding alleys with nice shops and restaurants, stroll along the shore of Lake Garda or climb to a monumental castle.

Lake Garda is ideal for windsurfing, sailing and other water sports. Also the seven small islands in Lake Garda are certainly worth a visit, Isola di Garda at San Felice, San Biagio at the rock of Manerba, Trimelone at Cassone, the islets Sogno and Olivo for the coast at Malcesine and the rocky islands Altare and Stella.
